My assignment for Glampertech was to create a unique piece focused on the top rated goggles in the ski industry for 2022. The request was to highlight the best ski goggles for 2022 through authentic, well researched product descriptions including features and details of each product. Upon request, the specific details for the project guidelines included ratings, specific uses, best price and general overview. From there, I was given free rein to write creative product descriptions, as well as relevant introduction content.
Solution:
Glamper Tech is an online business that specializes in providing expert research and unbiased reviews on the world's best outdoor gear. My mission was to give reader's honest opinions and reviews on leading outdoor brands and equipment. Between my personal experience and overall knowledge in the industry, I approached this project with well-researched evidence coupled with detailed information and product comparisons. Ultimately, I achieved this by listing and prioritizing each talking point while creatively highlighting specific features. The result was knowledgable content that provides expert research and unbiased reviews in a way that fit within the company's desired description format.

"As a seasoned skier, one who has experienced all types of days on the mountain, I had planned for the varying weather conditions by wearing my favorite pair of goggles. Aside from boots and skis, goggles remain one of the most crucial pieces of gear in my opinion. The right pair can either make or break your skiing experience. With a quick lens change, I was set to go.
Mother nature abides by no rules when it comes to weather, especially in the winter. Having experienced my fair share of days skiing wearing the wrong goggles or lenses for the weather conditions, I value the importance of investing in a high-quality pair of ski goggles. Whether the day is calling for sun, low-light, poor visibility, or snow showers, you want to be able to ski safely and with confidence. Each type of weather condition requires a certain type of goggle lens, which a lot of people don’t realize.

By highlighting specific comparisons and details, the piece successfully targeted the intended audience through intention and direction. For future projects, I will take this approach even further by combining experience, industry knowledge, and potential consumers in order to deliver high quality content.
