Outdoor Gear Product Descriptions

As part of my work with SkiEssentials, I was asked to write product descriptions for their company website. The request was to write detailed outdoor gear descriptions highlighting the features and details of each product. To kickoff the assignment, I was provided with a project brief as well as brand guidelines highlighting SkiEssentials' brand voice. From there, I was given free rein to write creative product descriptions.

SkiEssentials is an online business that specializes in selling products geared towards passionate outdoor enthusiasts. As a result, I faced the challenge of speaking to a wide range of audiences while also sharing a number of talking points related to SkiEssentials' efforts to provide accurate, unbiased, and informative content. These challenges, coupled with SkiEssentials' requested product description length, created a task in which I was required to share detailed information in a short amount of content. Ultimately, I achieved this by listing and prioritizing each talking point while creatively highlighting specific features. The result was knowledgable content that highlights SkiEssentials' products in a way that fit within the company's desired description format.
